Chris is an Advisor and the President of OneLife.
Chris began his career in the financial planning industry in Ottawa, working with business families and understanding their complex needs. Since joining OneLife in 2016, he has specialized in the various areas that pertain to working with these families, focusing on the succession of family wealth and working with multiple generations to ensure that assets and values are transferred accordingly.
After graduating from the University of South Alabama with a business degree, Chris acquired designations that include Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP), and Chartered Investment Manager (CIM).
Chris is an avid golfer and supports several local charitable organizations, notably sitting on the Board of the Perley and volunteering for key events for the Ottawa Heart Institute Foundation and CHEO.
Marc is a registered Associate Portfolio Manager with Quintessence Wealth and Managing Partner of OneLife. With over 25 years in the industry and various designations, Marc uses his knowledge and experience to focus on helping retirees and business owners create tax efficient financial plans to improve their overall situation.
Marc has a business degree from the University of Ottawa and holds the CFP, MFA and CIM designations.
Marc grew up in Northern Ontario and lives in Ottawa with his wife Andrea and two boys. He is an avid coach & volunteer in their minor hockey association and enjoys playing hockey, motorcycling and various outdoor activities.
Vanessa is a Service Associate specializing ininsurance.
Raised in Nova Scotia, Vanessa moved to Ottawain 2004 and began her career in the insurance industry in 2006 fosteringmeaningful relationships with clients and advisors alike. Her commitmentto personalized service and comprehensive understanding of the industry hasearned her a reputation for reliability and trustworthiness.
Outside the office, Vanessa enjoys reading,hiking and living a balanced lifestyle.
Kaysi is Executive Assistant to Marc Ouellet.
Born and raised in Kemptville, Ontario, Kaysi has been working in the financial services industry for over 20 years. Kaysi is a problem solver, whose extensive experience and organizational skills make her invaluable to Marc and the OneLife team.
In her spare time, Kaysi enjoys reading and spending time with her husband and teenage son and their dog, Shade.
Nick is a registered Portfolio Manager with Quintessence Wealth.
Born and raised in Ottawa, Nick began his career in finance, concentrating on collecting market intelligence, analyzing data, and constructing portfolios. The benefits that he brings is matched by his determination to provide guidance, to be proactive in market trends and to bring a unique and positive perspective for our client’s investment.
Nick earned a diploma from Algonquin College in Business Administration – Finance in 2016 and acquired his CIM designation in 2020. Nick earned his CFA charter in 2022, which is considered the highest set of credentials in the global investment management industry.
Outside of the office Nick enjoys staying active, practices martial arts and is an avid reader. Nick also volunteers as treasurer for a local Royal Canadian Army Cadet Corps, assisting with training and fundraising activities.
Jessica is the Executive Assistant to advisor, Todd Dundas.
Jessica joined OneLife with more than a decade in Administration and Client Relations. She has a passion for Customer Service and her incredible positivity shines through in everything she does. Jessica’s high level of organization, extensive experience and consistent optimism brings significant value to her clients and co-workers.
Outside the office, Jessica enjoys reading, walking, and spending time with her husband and daughter.
Marianne brings with her extensive customer service experience along with many years in the financial industry. She strives for perfection in her work and is very dedicated to fostering positive client relationships. Her knowledge, commitment, and positive attitude make her a valuable asset to the team at OneLife.
Born in Brockville and raised in Ottawa, Spencer began his working career, helping run his family’s businesses. For 8 years he helped manage 5 successful coffee shops across the city of Ottawa, learning firsthand what it takes to be a business owner and the impacts it has on a family.
During that time, he received his diploma in Television Broadcasting from Algonquin College. In 2013 he made the decision to leave the family business for a career in finance and joined Freedom 55 Financial. Over the next 9 years worked as a Financial Advisor and a Director of Business Development before joining OneLife in the fall of 2022.
Spencer is happily married to his wife Rebecca and the proud father of their two daughters Harper and Nora and three dogs Kuma, Willow and Murphy. He’s an avid sports fan and enjoys playing hockey and golf.
Brian holds the CFP (Certified Financial Planner), CLU (Chartered Life Underwriter) and CEBS (Certified Employee Benefit Specialist) designations and completed a Bachelor of Arts in Economics at Carleton University in Ottawa in 2014. With over 40 years of experience managing small and medium sized businesses, Brian has an acute understanding of the challenges you face in individual, family and business planning.
Brian focuses intently on providing information in a concise and plain language format to allow you to make informed decisions.
Outside of the office Brian enjoys golf, hockey, and spending time with his grandchildren.
George specializes in working with business owners and professionals, with significant experience in employee benefits for his corporate clients. With his internationally recognized credentials and his financial background, George understands his clients’ needs. He believes that dedication to his clients’ financial wellbeing is the foundation of their success.
From Ottawa, George obtained a degree in economics from Carleton University in 1998 and a diploma in finance from Algonquin college in 2000. George also has his CFP, which he obtained in 2002.
Outside of the office, George volunteers coaching football, and enjoys spending time with his family.
Todd’s passion is working with people who are retired or nearing retirement who value first-rate advice and service. With a focus on tax minimization, wealth accumulation and wealth transfer strategies, his practice of taking the time to truly know and understand his clients makes his recommendations perfectly matched to their needs and goals.
With over 20 years of experience, he prides himself on the sense of optimism his clients feel when they realize that their vision is their reality. Through his professional, honest and positive approach, he truly enjoys making a difference.
He is a graduate of the University of Windsor, holds a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation, and Master Financial Advisor designation.
Away from the office he enjoys coaching and watching his three children succeed in high level hockey.
Born and raised in Smiths Falls, Ontario and after graduation was offered a job in the Federal Government of Canada. Moved to Ottawa in 1972 and her government career lasted 37 years.
She retired: however, retirement did not suit her. Joan accepted a job working for OneLife on a short contract which was 13 years ago. Her experience in Government as a Senior Administrator and Procurement Officer equipped her with a broad spectrum of experience that could be shared with OneLife in the areas of senior administration, client services, finance, etc.
Joan continues to enjoy working with OneLife, experiencing the growth of the organization, the Clients and our OneLife Team.
Outside of the office, she spends time with her husband, her children and four grandchildren who all live in the city. She is blessed as well, to enjoy an amazing number of friends that she has had for decades.
Joan volunteers in an organization that is near and dear to her heart which brings her such joy and gratitude.
Jill was born and raised in Thunder Bay and moved to Ottawa in 2001. Jill joined the group benefits team after acquiring 20 years of experience as an Employee Benefits Account Executive at one of Canada’s largest national insurance providers. During this time, she developed extensive knowledge and expertise in the group insurance industry, working with corporate clients of all sizes.
Jill has a relentless passion for advocating for each client. You will find Jill using her 23+ years of experience to create and execute strategies to ensure that our clients are successful in getting their desired outcome as it relates to their corporate benefit programs.
Outside of the office, Jill has a very wide range of interests. She is a strong advocate for women’s rights and gender equality and has done public speaking events on this topic for the past number of years. Jill is also a published author, plays the cello, bakes anything and everything…but wherever she is, you will find Jill spending time with her husband, her three kids, and her Newfoundland dog, Lloyd.
Peter has been a leading expert in the insurance industry for 25+ years. Starting his career as a living benefits specialist, Peter’s knowledge and experience led him to obtain rights as the Sole Authorized Representative in Ottawa, Eastern Ontario, and Durham Region for the Canadian Bar Insurance Association (CBIA) and Lawyers Financial where he has helped over 1600 clients.
In addition to his knowledge and expertise in the Living Benefits field, this gives the OneLife team access to high quality, low priced product for Lawyers, their families, and those in the legal community.
Bill founded OneLife Wealth Management with the purpose of providing financial services to clients through a disciplined and formalized process. He specializes in tax-effective solutions for business owners, particularly in retirement income and wealth transfer planning. After a professional basketball career, Bill has decades of experience in the financial services field. As part of his passion for helping clients, Bill speaks nationally on issues facing business owners with Holding Companies.
Born and raised in Ottawa, Mark is a dedicated Associate Advisor at OneLife, whose career as an insurance advisor began in 2016. Mark is known for his exceptional client communication skills and is passionately dedicated to assisting clients in securing their financial futures, ensuring they are well protected against life's uncertainties. With a keen understanding of the industry's intricacies, Mark works tirelessly to provide personalized solutions tailored to each client's unique needs and circumstances.
Outside of the office, Mark enjoys spending time with his family and is an avid movie buff. Fun fact: Mark used to be an online film critic. His passion for storytelling and analysis enriches both his professional and personal life, making him a valuable asset to our team.
Meghan Manion was born and raised in the GTA and moved to Eastern Ontario in 2006. Meghan has over 15 years of experience specializing in employee benefits and group retirement programs - nine of those years were spent working for national insurance carriers. Working with clients directly and helping others is Meghan’s passion. She enjoys tackling and solving problems for our corporate clients, and her main goal is to make their lives easier by taking ownership of any client concern. Her exceptional attention to detail is truly an asset, as she ensures nothing is missed while providing outstanding service for our clients and their employees. Outside of the office, Meghan’s two sons’ sports schedules dictate where she will be at any given time! She can also be found at the lake in the summer, and at the rink in the winter enjoying time with her family.
William is a Senior Advisor with OneLife who works with families, business owners and professionals. With over 22 years experience in finance, William takes time to listen and understand the needs of each client. He specializes in retirement income and estate planning, helping people organize, plan, and make the most of their assets.
William is a graduate of Toronto Metropolitan University and holds the Master Financial Advisor (MFA) designation and Real Wealth Manager (RWM) designation.
Raised on a farm in southern Ontario, Bill now lives in Ottawa with his wife and two daughters. When not in the office William can be found enjoying the outdoors hiking, paddleboarding, and being active with his family.
Greg is a Chartered Accountant with 25+ years of personal and corporate tax experience. He brings a CA perspective to the advisory world, utilizing a long-term planning approach, and bringing unique insight for the OneLife team. His clients know Greg to be a hands-on, proactive advisor who will guide them through their tax planning needs.
Jennifer Irvine grew up in Smiths Falls, Ontario. Jenn has over 16 years of experience in financial services, many of which were at one of Canada’s largest insurance providers. As part of our group benefits team, you will find Jenn working diligently to ensure our corporate clients’ needs are met as she works with our team and our providers on client quotations, renewal reports, benefit plan reviews, and everything in between!
When Jenn isn’t busy multitasking at the office, she may be found out at the golf course or spending time with her family.
Brad is driven by his passion to equip his advisors and his clients with a practical, real-world understanding of wealth management.
Since graduating Commerce accounting 1978, Brad has achieved the highest certifications available in financial planning, Insurance underwriting, tax and wealth management. This qualifies him as an expert adviser to his select group of successful clients.
Managing hundreds of staff and advisors in the Saskatoon and Ottawa Regional offices for years earned Brad stellar recognition. The OneLife adviser team has access to the best coaching in the business with Brad Powe on board.
Adam Skube grew up in Thunder Bay, and now calls Ottawa home. Before joining OneLife, Adam gained years of invaluable experience at a top national insurance provider as an Account Executive working with corporate group clients of all sizes. Now, with over 13 years of experience, Adam specializes in employee benefits and group retirement programs. He recognizes the immense value of time and is driven to use his expertise to provide trusted advice and customized solutions to drive our corporate clients’ success.
Adam truly cares about each and every client. He has a unique ability to simplify the communication of our clients’ programs so that benefit and group retirement programs are easily understood, and works hard to provide a fulfilling and simplistic client experience.
Family is everything to Adam. If he’s not at work, Adam is spending time with family in some way – whether it’s skiing, golfing, camping, or especially making memories at the family cottage.
Jake Skube grew up in Thunder Bay and moved to Ottawa in 2017. As part of our group benefits team, he provides invaluable perspective on how our team can be operating in the insurance world to best serve our clients. Jake brings his previous experience in HR at a large Canadian Tech company, and additional years of experience in Disability Management to lend to his unique perspective as he focuses on providing the best possible solutions and care to our clients.
Jake’s main goal is simple: To help make our clients’ lives easier by taking care of their benefit needs.
Outside of the office, you can find Jake spending time with his wife, getting outdoors hiking and golfing, and spending time at the family cottage.
Daniel is a Certified Financial Planner and Master Financial Advisor at OneLife who works with families and business owners in areas of wealth, tax, insurance and estate planning, using a unique Discovery Process which helps reveal what is truly important in life to his clients.
Daniel is a graduate of Carleton University and first began working in the industry in1999. He has since earned many industry certifications and holds Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and Master Financial Advisor (MFA) designations.
For 14 years, he taught courses for the CFP program at Algonquin College and was also a contributor and instructor for the Knowledge Bureau, the leading provider of tax and wealth management courses in Canada.
Daniel lives in Barrhaven with his wife Andrea and their three boys, Christian, Alex and Jack. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, skiing and auto racing and is a prominent musician in the nation’s capital.
She began her professional career in the retail industry before joining the team at OneLife in 2019. Here, she has been able to engage the skills she acquired during her time in the retail and healthcare sectors, providing exceptional service to clients through a strong commitment and desire to enhance the lives of those around her.
Amber graduated from Carleton University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2016 and has since acquired her designation as an Authorized Court Transcriptionist.
In her off hours, Amber loves to get creative through various crafts, including crochet, embroidery, and drawing, with her dog, Luna, at her side.
